Over the course of six races, Brad Sweet watched an almost 100-point lead shrink to 16 as David Gravel of Watertown, CT went on a late-season run and now chases Sweet into the World of Outlaws Sprint Car World Finals on November 2, 4-5. NASCAR National Series standout and former track champion Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT returned to Connecticut in his own No. 40 Modified and pulled away from the field in the final laps to score the $5,000 prize in the Tripoint Showdown 75.
