June 27, 2025, Las Vegas — Registration for the longest closed-course endurance race in North America is opening at noon Central Time July 4, 2025. The NASA 25 Hours at Ozarks International Raceway has undergone a series of changes as result of input from teams and drivers.
The race is as challenging as ever, but everything else about it will be easier. Along with the venue change from Thunderhill Raceway in northern California, the NASA 25 Hours at Ozarks also will benefit from a raft of other exciting changes this year we think racers will love.
BECHTELSVILLE, PA APRIL 28, 2025 . . . . . . . . Brent Marks and Rico Abreu, the two previous winners of the NAPA Auto Parts Thunder on the Hill Racing Series Rich Mar Florist Kubota High Limit 410 sprint events presented by Levan Machine & Truck Equipment will be chasing that checker flag again at Grandview Speedway Tuesday night, May 20. A hefty $20,000 first place prize is on the line for the winner of the 35 lap High Limit event that is also part of the Roto-Rooter MIDWEEK Series. In addition, if the race winner is a Pennsylvania driver, they will pocket an additional $2,000 bonus courtesy of Alpine Building Supply. In last year’s event local favorite Brent Marks collected the $2,000 PA driver bonus. It was the first Thunder on the Hill victory for Marks after nineteen starts at the Bechtelsville, PA speedway.

NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty and Mark Martin unveil display that pays tribute to the history and heritage of the Track Too Tough to Tame
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 18, 2025) – Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary Exhibit at the NASCAR Hall of Fame officially opened Tuesday with the help of two of the greatest drivers ever to race the Track Too Tough to Tame.
NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty (Class of 2010) and Mark Martin (Class of 2017) joined NASCAR and Darlington Raceway dignitaries to cut the ribbon on the exhibit paying tribute to the greatest races, competitors and milestones in the track’s storied history.
“This was a fitting way to unveil this incredible exhibit and begin Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary celebration,” said Darlington Raceway President Josh Harris. “The NASCAR Hall of Fame does a first-class job honoring the rich legacy of our sport, and we look forward to all of the fans enjoying an exhibit that highlights everything that has made Darlington Raceway Too Tough to Tame throughout the past 75 years.”
Kurt Busch is hoping that his upcoming participation at the Race of Champions is a springboard to a broader return to racing.
The 2004 NASCAR Cup Series champion was forced to call time on his full-time NASCAR career in 2023 due to the effects of a concussion sustained in a c rash during qualifying at Pocono in 2022. He gained medical clearance to get back into the cockpit this week ahead of the Race of Champions in Sydney on March 7-8, and told RACER that he hopes that more driving is on the horizon. (more…)
