(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to racing action with a Weekly Series program on Friday, July 29th.  Anthony Bello came up a first-time winner in the SK Modified® feature, Darrell Keane took down his first Late Model win in nearly 2 years, George Bessette, Jr. scored his second SK Light win of the season, Rich Hammann notched his fourth Limited Late Model win of the season, and Bert Ouellette was a first-time 2022 winner in the Street Stock feature.

(Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Speedway hosted Weekly Racing action on Friday, September 24 with all 5 of its divisions in feature action.  The SK Modified® feature saw Todd Owen declared the winner after post-race inspection determined that original feature winner Stephen Kopcik and third place finisher Jon Puleo did not meet rule 20E – 12.3 Coil Over Shocks and both cars were disqualified from the feature finish.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted its first scheduled Friday night race of the 2021 season with a Stafford Weekly Series program on Friday, May 7th.  Michael Christopher outdueled Keith Rocco to win the SK Modified® feature, while both Michael Bennett and Derek Debbis both made it two-for-two in 2021 by winning the Late Model and SK Light feature events respectively.  Rich Hammann scored his first career Stafford feature victory in the Limited Late Model feature, and Travis Hydar won the Street Stock feature.

Massive Field Turns Out for ThunderRoad Practice Day

Barre, VT — A huge field of cars filed through the pits for the Thunder Road Car Show and Practice Day on Saturday, May 1. When all was said and done, 119 drivers across 4 divisions took to the track in preparation for the Community Bank N.A. 150 on FloRacing this Sunday, May 2. The speeds were as big as the fields with racers storming out of the gates after a long, cold Vermont winter.
