Rick Hendrick doesn’t view Jimmie Johnson as a turncoat—far from it.
After all, Johnson claimed seven NASCAR Cup Series championships—including a record five in a row—while driving the No. 48 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet from 2001 through 2020.
As electric vehicles (EVs) become more popular, not every owner is thrilled with their decision to go green. To better understand these feelings, we surveyed 501 American EV owners to gauge their regrets and frustrations. Along with this survey, we analyzed search data from the 100 most populated US cities, focusing on common EV complaints over the past year. MARTINSVILLE, Va. – After 16 races across seven different states on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour in 2022, Tommy Baldwin Racing officially celebrated the owners championship on Thursday night at Martinsville Speedway.
Driving the No. 7NY, Jimmy “Showtime” Blewett celebrated with the team post-race, after coming close to Victory Lane in the 200-lap race – contending for the lead in the final laps before being swept up in a wreck.
THOMPSON, Conn. – After 150 laps of nearly non-stop action Sunday at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park, Tommy Baldwin Racing was celebrating. With a second-place finish by Mike Christopher Jr. in the No. 7NY, Baldwin’s team unofficially clinched the series owner’s championship with still one race left on the schedule.
A dream season is nearly complete for Tommy Baldwin Racing on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. With three different drivers behind the wheel through the first 14 races of the season, Baldwin’s No. 7NY team leads the Whelen Modified Tour owner’s championship standings by 38 points with just two races remaining.
