(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway returned to weekly racing action with the Late Model division taking center stage with their extra distance Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50 feature event on Friday night, September 5th. Chris Meyer was the big winner of the night by winning the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50. Meyer had the car of Chris Buffone right behind him for roughly the final 35 laps and Buffone actually took the lead from Meyer coming to the white flag, but Meyer was able to retake the lead on the final lap and win the race. Other winners on the night were Mikey Flynn in the SK Modified® feature, Nickolas Hovey in the SK Light feature, Travis Hydar in the Limited Late Model feature, and Brent Gleason in the Street Stock feature.

Adam Gray Leads Stafford Late Models Into Paradiso Insurance 50
(Stafford Springs, CT)—With the 2025 season at Stafford Motor Speedway beginning to wind down and head towards crowning five track champions, the track’s Late Model division is set for their biggest race of the year, the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50. The Late Model field will take to the track this Friday night, September 5th for their extra distance classic with 4-time Stafford Late Model champion Adam Gray leading the field. 2025 has been a self-admittedly up and down year for the driver of the #97 Meadows Motor Cars Chevrolet, but Gray will be looking to post a solid finish to kick off the final four races of the season.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—With Stafford Speedway’s Late Model division set to run their annual extra distance feature event, the Paradiso Insurance 50, this Friday September 6, Bobby Stirk, III and the #9 team sponsored by A6A Associates, Tri-State Elevator & Hoist, and Costa & Son Construction are ready to fight for their first Late Model victory. The fact that Stirk will even be at the track to try to win the race would be a small miracle after crashing his car and seeing the front end briefly catch fire in last week’s feature event.
