HIGH POINT, N.C. (Oct. 31, 2024) – A pair of season-long championships are on the line in the Silver Hare Racing camp as it heads to the 2024 Cube 3 Architecture TA2 Series finale Sunday at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas.
BATAVIA, Ohio. (October 22, 2024) – In anticipation of the conclusion of the Porsche Endurance Challenge North America championship at Circuit of The Americas (COTA) next month, Dempsey-Wright Motorsports has announced the addition of Tanner Foust to the driver lineup of the No. 98 Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport, joining Patrick Dempsey and Patrick Long to the season finale event.
“It’s an incredible honor to be invited as the third driver for this powerhouse motorsports duo,” said Foust. “Pat Long and Patrick Dempsey are two of my personal heroes; they are both extremely inspirational on and off the track. To top it off, we’re hitting the iconic COTA circuit in a Wright Motorsports-prepped Porsche GT4—it doesn’t get much better than that! Carson, California. Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA) and Deluxe Corporation have expanded the Porsche Deluxe Female Driver Development Program with two more drivers, Chloe Chambers and Madeline Stewart. Chambers represents the Cayman class, which uses the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 Clubsport, while Stewart will carry the banner for the class utilizing the Porsche 911 GT3 Cup Type 992 race car. Chambers and Stewart join Sabré Cook as the 2023 recipients of the Porsche Deluxe Female Driver Development Program scholarship.
In 2009, 19-year-old Parker Kligerman of Stamford, CT was in the midst of one of the most memorable ARCA Menards Series championship battles.
While race fans may recall the Stamford, Connecticut native’s mind-boggling consistency, Kligerman’s 2009 championship run seemed like a story from a Hollywood film. Racing for Cunningham Motorsports’ No. 77 Dodge entry, Kligerman and his team were like ARCA’s version of the 1967 Boston Red Sox with an improbable title run. (more…)
