Bootie Barker Set to Call Final Race for No. 23 Team at Phoenix
Charles Denike to replace Barker, who will remain with 23XI, following season finale
Huntersville, N.C. (Oct. 30, 2024) – 23XI Racing announced today that veteran crew chief Bootie Barker will call his final race with Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 team at the season finale at Phoenix Raceway. Following the end of the season, Barker will be replaced by Charles Denike, the current crew chief for the No. 19 truck team at McAnally-Hilgemann Racing in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Barker will remain with 23XI and continue to work with the competition leadership team to prepare cars and strategize for races. His new role will be based at Airspeed.

Team Owner Chris Hettinger To Field No. 4 Chevrolet Silverado for Driver Brett Moffitt in Final Two NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Races of 2024
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (Oct. 29, 2024) – Chris Hettinger, a longtime and winning Late Model team owner from Dryden, Michigan, has purchased the assets of Bret Holmes Racing. The organization will complete the 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series schedule with 2018 Truck Series champion Brett Moffitt under its new name, Hettinger Racing.
Hettinger is a second-generation racer whose father, Jim, raced open-wheel Midgets and Sprint Cars and won two championships in 1984 and 1990, accolades that earned him a spot in the National Midget Auto Racing Hall of Fame. Chris began his racing career behind the wheel, winning in Midgets and Late Models before becoming a fulltime team owner.

PHOENIX (Oct. 16, 2024) – Phoenix Raceway President Latasha Causey unveiled the Official Countdown Clock for NASCAR Championship Weekend on Wednesday at Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. The clock will greet thousands of NASCAR fans traveling through Terminal 4 en route to Phoenix Raceway for the culmination of the 2024 NASCAR season.
Dylan Lupton to Drive for AM Racing for the Remainder of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series Season
STATESVILLE, N.C.: Officials from AM Racing happily announced today that Dylan Lupton will drive the team’s No. 15 Ford Mustang for the remainder of the 2024 NASCAR Xfinity Series season, beginning with Saturday’s United Rentals 250 at Talladega (Ala.) Superspeedway.
Lupton, a graduate of the NASCAR Next initiative, will also pilot the team’s Ford Mustang at the Charlotte (N.C.) Motor Speedway ROVAL, Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway, Homestead-Miami (Fla.) Phoenix Raceway Announces Sellout for NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday, Nov. 10
PHOENIX – As a number of regional businesses and community guests gathered at Phoenix Raceway on September 12 to celebrate the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs and raise funds for the Fighter Country Foundation, the track announced that grandstand seats are sold out for the NASCAR Cup Series Championship Race on Sunday, Nov. 10. It marks the seventh consecutive Cup Series event to sell out at the mile-long doglegged oval and the fourth consecutive sellout for the Cup Series Championship.

(September 9th, 2024) – Starting at Talladega Superspeedway on October 5th, Dead On Tools will serve as the primary sponsor of Anthony Alfredo and the number 5 NASCAR Xfinity Series car in four of the final six races of the 2024 season. Corey Heim Eager To Return To Championship 4 Race At Phoenix
Last year, Corey Heim’s Playoff effort was remarkably consistent—until he and his No. 11 Toyota team got to the season finale at Phoenix Raceway.
Heim started on the pole as the championship favorite but tangled twice with fellow Playoff driver Carson Hocevar and finished 18th. NASCAR penalized Heim for retaliating against Hocevar in the second incident, dropping Heim to fourth in the final standings.
