The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will now contest the Yvon Bedard 109 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Friday, August 22 for a doubleheader weekend as part of the 52nd Oxford 250 after Circuit Riverside Speedway could not receive permits for the original August 17 make-up. (Mark A. Cote photo)

Barre, VT — In an unfortunate turn of events, the Municipality of Ste-Croix, Quebec informed the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) office that the Yvon Bedard 149 will not go on as rescheduled on August 17 at Circuit Riverside Speedway. Officials at the Speedway were unable to obtain permits for a rain date during the originally scheduled date on July 5.

With the current situation having been relayed to the ACT office through a series of lawyers and track officials over the past week, Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials have been hard at work to secure a new venue for the event. Newly minted as the Yvon Bedard 109, the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour will go green at Oxford Plains Speedway on Friday, August 22 to make a Friday/Saturday doubleheader as part of the 52nd All That’s Metal Oxford 250 weekend.

Joey Doiron Dominates Inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200 at Oxford Plains

Joey Doiron Dominates Inaugural Memorial Day Clash 200 at Oxford Plains

By Zach Evans, Racing America

Joey Doiron’s Oxford Plains Speedway dominance continued on Tuesday, as he led nearly wire to wire in the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Memorial Day Clash 200.

The Berwick, Maine driver started on the pole, but Brandon Barker led the first two laps of the event after starting on the outside of the front row. Those would be the only laps not led by Doiron, as he moved in front of Barker in turn two of the third lap and never relinquished the lead afterwards.

Oxford, ME — After yet another week of watching several different weather forecasts over western Maine, Oxford Plains Speedway and Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour officials have made the difficult decision to postpone Sunday’s planned events with continued rain showers on the horizon. The Pine Tree State 125 will now be held on Saturday, October 18 during the PASS 400 weekend.

The change makes for an exciting, late season doubleheader with the originally planned ACT Tri-State Flying Tiger Series as they wrap up their triple crown with the annual 75-lap affair at Oxford Plains Speedway.

Barre, VT — After a spectacular start to the 2025 season just last Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, the Stars and Cars of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour set their sights on Maine’s Oxford Plains Speedway. The Pine Tree State 125 is sure to be the latest showdown between Gabe Brown and Derek Gluchacki, as both look to mount a strong offensive with their eyes on the $20,000 championship prize while they’ll be plenty of competitors standing in their way on Sunday afternoon!

The longtime, unofficial Vacationland home of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour, Oxford Plains Speedway has held events for the Vermont-based Tour for forty-five years. The Pine Tree State 125 on Sunday, April 27 marks the 84th point-counting event at the Maine oval since the ‘Pine Tree Open 100’ which, interestingly enough, was also held on April 27 back in 1980!
