DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Aug. 4, 2026) – Back by popular demand, NASCAR’s season-opening exhibition race is returning to its original home. Daytona International Speedway announced today that the Wheatley Vodka Clash will kick off the 2027 edition of Speedweeks Presented by AdventHealth on Saturday, Feb. 13, bringing the fan-favorite event back to the World Center of Racing as part of the track’s 2027 NASCAR schedule.

Preseason Safety Inspection Dates Announced For Riverhead Raceway April 8th & April 15th
With 2023 Speedweeks firmly in the rearview mirror, Riverhead Raceway announced today two preseason safety inspection days Saturday April 8th and Saturday April 15th. Weather permitting, both inspection days run from 10:00 am through 3:00 pm and kickoff a busy month of April leading up to the 73rd season opening weekend Saturday evening May 6th and Sunday afternoon May 7th.
