Denny Hamlin won the Cup race at the World Wide Technology Raceway. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished fifth with Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT placing 13th.
Conner Zilisch won the Xfinity event. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgewood, CT came in 13th, and Thomas Annunziata of NJ ended up 20th.

Forecasts for a wet weekend on Long Island became reality Saturday forcing NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour officials and Riverhead Raceway management to rest the Eddie Partridge 256 WMT program to Saturday October 4th. The race has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 4. The start time will be announced at a later date.
