Forecasts for a wet weekend on Long Island became reality Saturday forcing NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour officials and Riverhead Raceway management to rest the Eddie Partridge 256 WMT program to Saturday October 4th. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (September 6, 2025) – NASCAR and Riverhead Raceway officials have postponed this weekend’s NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event due to a forecast of continued rain for this weekend. The race has been rescheduled for Saturday, October 4. The start time will be announced at a later date.
