Saturday night at Riverhead Raceway it was a night to remember a Late Model legend in Paul McElearney with a 60-lap Memorial race that saw defending champion Jeremy McDermott turn in a a dominating performance setting fast time and leading all 60-laps in route to his second win of the season.
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is ready for a dirt filled debut at Knoxville Raceway
After taking last weekend off, the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series will be returning to action this weekend in the Corn Belt 150 Presented by Premier Chevy Dealers at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa on Friday, July 9 at 9 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio in the series’ debut at the famously historic dirt track.

Set to return to competition at his home track, Bonsignore looks to add a fifth consecutive win at the New York oval in Whelen Modified Tour action.
Saturday afternoon, JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier raced to Victory Lane at Darlington Raceway. This win marked his second of the season and capped off a day in which the majority of the team performed well, simultaneously creating questions about whether the team will move to the Cup Series. MILFORD, Conn. — Doug Coby looks to break into Victory Lane for the first time at Riverhead Raceway in NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour competition on Saturday, May 15. In race three of the tour season — the Miller Lite 200 — Coby looks to erase a 19-race winless streak on Long Island. The six-time Whelen Modified Tour champion does have two finishes of second and has led 332 laps at the bullring, but is yet to hoist the checkered flag. (more…)

As NASCAR teams and fans celebrate the past this weekend at Darlington Raceway, the Tour-type Modified teams of the Southeast are getting a similar and slightly-impromptu chance to do the same this Saturday at an old hot spot for Modified racing.
