Drivers Will Take on VIR’s Full Course to Support Victory Junction Children with Medical and Physical Needs – Limited Tickets Also Available for a 43-Minute Pit Stop with Richard Petty
RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Nov. 6, 2025) – VIRginia International Raceway (VIR) will host its annual Charity Laps to benefit Victory Junction on Friday, November 21, 2025, inviting car enthusiasts from across the Southeast to hit the track for a cause.
From 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., participants can drive their own vehicles on VIR’s world-renowned 3.27-mile full course, following a pace car for 15-20 minutes of non-competitive track time. Each session is available for just $25, with all proceeds supporting Victory Junction. Tickets for the Charity Laps event are available for purchase on-site at the event.

NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty and Mark Martin unveil display that pays tribute to the history and heritage of the Track Too Tough to Tame
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 18, 2025) – Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary Exhibit at the NASCAR Hall of Fame officially opened Tuesday with the help of two of the greatest drivers ever to race the Track Too Tough to Tame.
NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty (Class of 2010) and Mark Martin (Class of 2017) joined NASCAR and Darlington Raceway dignitaries to cut the ribbon on the exhibit paying tribute to the greatest races, competitors and milestones in the track’s storied history.
“This was a fitting way to unveil this incredible exhibit and begin Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary celebration,” said Darlington Raceway President Josh Harris. “The NASCAR Hall of Fame does a first-class job honoring the rich legacy of our sport, and we look forward to all of the fans enjoying an exhibit that highlights everything that has made Darlington Raceway Too Tough to Tame throughout the past 75 years.”
Thomas Annunziata, one of the country’s most promising young racers, will take on Pocono Raceway’s Tricky Triangle this weekend with the support of one of the nation’s leading automobile dealerships. (more…)
