YouTube Star Cleetus McFarland Could Drive For Prospective Ram NASCAR Truck Series Team

 

YouTube star and ARCA driver Cleetus McFarland could get involved with the prospective new NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series team from Stellantis’ Ram brand should the automaker complete talks to enter the sport, according to four people familiar with the matter and a document seen by SBJ.

McFarland, the automotive enthusiast whose real name is Garrett Mitchell, has started to become something akin to NASCAR’s version of Jake Paul this year by competing in real competition in what is effectively the sport’s fourth division. He’s brought along his massive fanbase for the ride, something that’s been helpful for a sport looking for new breakout stars.
