This winter, Ice Race founded by Ferdi Porsche, is one of the most visually arresting and mechanically diverse automotive gatherings anywhere in the world, bringing together historic rally legends, rare homologation specials, safari-built Porsches, modern hyper-off-roaders, and one-off race machines on ice.

More than a concours or track day, Ice Race is a living archive of motorsport history, where cars built to survive gravel, snow, desert, and mountain passes are driven as intended, not roped off. This year’s field spans nearly a century of performance engineering, from pre-war Grand Prix icons to modern Dakar-inspired builds.

CHICAGO—Once again, Shane van Gisbergen asserted his superiority on the streets of Chicago, and in doing so, he matched a major NASCAR milestone.

In winning the Grant Park 165 on the Chicago Street Course, the New Zealander completed a weekend sweep of the NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR Cup races, both from the pole position.
