PORTLAND, OR – A dramatic overtime pass for the win punctuated a nearly perfect afternoon for JR Motorsports driver Connor Zilisch at Portland (Ore.) International Raceway, where the 19-year old claimed his series-best eighth NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the season – the best series victory total ever for a rookie driver.

Only weeks removed from breaking his collarbone celebrating another win – at the Watkins Glen, N.Y. road course – Zilisch claimed pole position, won both stages, set fastest lap and celebrated it all in Victory Circle of the famed 1.967-mile road course in the scenic Pacific Northwest.

DARLINGTON, S.C.—Even though the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series changed the clock from the regular season to the Playoffs, it was still “Corey Heim Time” on Saturday at Darlington Raceway.

Pulling away after a restart on Lap 134 of 147, Heim won the Playoff-opening Sober or Slammer 200 at the challenging 1.366-mile track. The win was Heim’s eighth of the year, one short of Greg Biffle’s record nine-victory season in 1999.

RICHMOND, Va. – Austin Dillon claimed his sixth career NASCAR Cup Series race trophy, earned a 2025 Playoff bid and just as importantly, he enjoyed some sweet redemption in Saturday night’s Cook Out 400 at Richmond (Va.) Raceway.

Dillon led 107 laps on the night, including the final 49 to claim the victory and automatic berth in the 16-driver Playoff field – vaulting from a 25th place position in the championship standings before the green flag to a championship berth at the checkered flag in a clutch effort from the 2018 Daytona 500 winner and his No. 3 Richard Childress Racing team.

RICHMOND, Va. – Corey Heim earned a NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series’ best seventh victory of the season in the eero 250 at Richmond (Va.) Raceway Friday night, but this first short track victory for the Regular Season Champion took a fast Toyota truck, some real perseverance and a bit of racing good fortune.

The 23-year-old Georgia native started from pole position in the series’ regular season finale on the historic three-quarter mile venue, but he quickly had to deal with his front row starting mate, Ty Majeski who pressed him all night. Majeski swept both stage wins and his race best 143 of the 250 laps out front was more laps led than he turned in the entire season.

NCTS Race Recap: Kyle Larson Starts His Bid At A Miami Sweep With A Thrilling Truck Series Victory

By Holly Cain, NASCAR Wire Service

HOMESTEAD, Fla. – Kyle Larson made a dramatic run to the checkered flag, rallying from a late-race spinout to methodically race back through the field and pass the night’s most dominant trucks in the final 10 laps to claim victory in Friday’s Baptist Health 200 at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

It was a fittingly remarkable end to a typically competitive night in the NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series. Larson spun his No. 07 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet with 45 laps remaining in the 134-lapper and dropped out of the top-20. But the 2021 NASCAR Cup Series champion drove back through the field and moved forward picking off one frontrunner after another.
