The 30th Anniversary Ride will take place from May 1 – May 9, 2026, starting at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California, and ending at Charlotte Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina.
CHARLOTTE, N.C., July 15, 2025 – The Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America today officially announced the start and end locations, as well as the dates, for the 30th Anniversary Ride. For the milestone edition, the 30th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America will truly cross the United States, starting in Sonoma, California, on May 1, 2026, and concluding in Concord, North Carolina, on May 9, 2026.
225 participants will travel more than 1,400 miles on a week-long trek from Michigan to Virginia to raise funds and awareness for Victory Junction
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 2, 2025 – Former NASCAR driver and racing analyst Kyle Petty is revving up for the cause once again to lead the 29th Anniversary Kyle Petty Charity Ride Across America – one of the most popular charity rides in the country. From May 3 – 9, 2025, Petty will lead 225 motorcycles on a 1,400-mile route in an effort to raise funds and awareness for Victory Junction – a camp dedicated to providing life-changing camping experiences for children with serious and chronic medical conditions.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (March 18, 2025) – Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary Exhibit at the NASCAR Hall of Fame officially opened Tuesday with the help of two of the greatest drivers ever to race the Track Too Tough to Tame.
NASCAR Hall of Famers Richard Petty (Class of 2010) and Mark Martin (Class of 2017) joined NASCAR and Darlington Raceway dignitaries to cut the ribbon on the exhibit paying tribute to the greatest races, competitors and milestones in the track’s storied history.
“This was a fitting way to unveil this incredible exhibit and begin Darlington Raceway’s 75th Anniversary celebration,” said Darlington Raceway President Josh Harris. “The NASCAR Hall of Fame does a first-class job honoring the rich legacy of our sport, and we look forward to all of the fans enjoying an exhibit that highlights everything that has made Darlington Raceway Too Tough to Tame throughout the past 75 years.”

RANDLEMAN, N.C. (Dec. 13, 2024) – With the support of his family, NASCAR legend Richard Petty has donated approximately 403 acres of land to Victory Junction, a year-round camp for children with serious illnesses and chronic medical conditions. The donation includes 8 parcels of land adjacent to the camp’s current 140 acres, 84 which were originally donated by Richard Petty and his late wife, Lynda, to help launch the Camp 20 years ago.

The changes are largely aesthetic, with upgraded suspension being the only notable mechanical difference.
It’s on display at the 2024 SEMA Show, running November 5-8 in Las Vegas.
NASCAR has existed in the US for over 75 years, but only a few drivers—and their cars—have attained legendary status. Richard Petty is arguably at the very top of the list, and though he drove several cars throughout his long career, the 1970 Plymouth Superbird is the one people remember. Record books reflect Allison as fourth on all-time Cup Series wins list with 85
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Oct. 23, 2024) — NASCAR today announced its recognition of Bobby Allison as the official winner of the NASCAR Cup Series Myers Brothers Memorial at Bowman Gray Stadium on August 6, 1971. The NASCAR record books have been updated to reflect Allison in sole possession of fourth place on the all-time Cup Series wins list with 85 wins.
RICHMOND, Va. (July 17, 2024) – Richmond Raceway announced that American icon, NASCAR Hall of Famer, Seven-Time Cup Series Champion and the winningest driver in NASCAR history “The King” Richard Petty will serve as the Grand Marshal for the Clean Harbors 250 on Saturday, Aug. 10.
