Saturday night’s Coke Zero Sugar 400 marks the 157th running of a NASCAR Cup Series race at Daytona, and the most among all tracks in Cup Series history. Richard Childress Racing has made an impressive 202 starts at track and counts four Coke Zero Sugar 400 victories among the organization’s impressive seven points-paying wins at the track. Austin Dillon was RCR’s most recent Coke Zero Sugar 400 race winner, earning the win in 2022 to clinch a spot in the NASCAR Playoffs. Other Coke Zero Sugar 400 race winners include Kevin Harvick (2010) and Dale Earnhardt (1990, 1993). RCR owns three Daytona 500 wins (Earnhardt – 1998, Harvick – 2007, Dillon – 2018). In addition, RCR has collected11 poles in Cup Series competition at Daytona.

In 193 NASCAR Cup Series starts at Richmond Raceway, Richard Childress Racing has scored 10 wins, led by Dale Earnhardt’s five victories (1985 – spring, both races in 1987, 1990 – fall, and 1991 – spring). Kevin Harvick won three times (2006 – fall, 2011 – fall, and 2013 – spring), while Clint Bowyer scored his first short track victory in the Cup Series at the Virginia facility (2008 – spring). Austin Dillon pulled off a dominating performance one year ago to claim his first Richmond win and fifth career victory in the Cup Series. Teammate Kyle Busch, a six-time Richmond winner, finished 12th. The team owns 40 top-five and 77 top-10 finishes in Cup Series competition at the .75-mile oval.

Richard Childress Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series at Watkins Glen International… The NASCAR Cup Series returns to Watkins Glen International this weekend for the Go Bowling at The Glen, marking the 42nd Cup Series appearance at the 2.45-mile road course. Richard Childress Racing boasts two NASCAR Cup Series wins among eight top-five finishes, 23 top-10 finishes and three poles, having led 275 laps. Robby Gordon won the 2003 event, leading the final 30 laps and scoring his third victory with RCR over the span of three seasons. Kevin Harvick captured the 2006 race, edging Tony Stewart for the victory, and claiming his first win at Watkins Glen. The victory was Harvick’s first on a road course and came in his 200th career Cup start. Dale Earnhardt won three poles (1990, 1992, 1996) for the Welcome, N.C.-based organization. Last year at The Glen, Austin Dillon started 23rd and finished 28th, while Kyle Busch began the race 13th and finished 30th.
