Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to Drive for Niece Motorsports in NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series DebutSalisbury, NC (Jan. 14, 2026) – Niece Motorsports proudly welcomes DAYTONA 500 and two-time NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series champion, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., to drive for its NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series (NCTS) team.

Stenhouse Jr., an accomplished veteran, primarily competes in the NASCAR Cup Series driving the No. 47 Chevrolet for HYAK Motorsports. The Olive Branch, Mississippi, native has made nearly 600 starts in the top-three national series throughout his career, but has never raced a truck before.

LOUDON, N.H. – On Sunday, Sept. 21, Ricky Craven, two-time NASCAR Cup Series (NCS) race winner and Newburgh, Maine native, will get behind the wheel of the official Toyota GR Supra pace car as he leads 36 of NASCAR’s best to the green flag for the Mobil 1 301 NCS race at New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS).

THE MODERATOR: We’re joined by Mike Kelley, Crew Chief of the No. 47 Chevrolet. Congratulations on your win today, Mike. Can you tell us a little bit about the race itself?

 

MIKE KELLEY: Well, today for us was just all about execution. We generally don’t qualify well here. I think today — or yesterday was our best qualifying effort on a speedway with a Next Gen car. We qualified 32nd. We won’t compromise our race setup, and we generally have a pretty good race car for Ricky to be able to maneuver around.
