TA Cup’s John Moore Wins in Photo Finish in Trans Am Debut at Buttonwillow, 2023 Champion Brody Goble Wins CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series
JD Koos and Simon Asselin Win XGT and SGT, Respectively
BUTTONWILLOW, Calif. (March 16, 2025) – The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli’s first-ever race at Buttonwillow Raceway Park was exciting from start to finish, with tight racing and close finishes in both the new TA Cup class and the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series. TA Cup competitor John Moore earned his first-career Trans Am victory by a margin of just 0.277 seconds over Ken Sutherland for the overall race win, while 2023 CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Western Championship title winner Brody Goble beat Mia Lovell in her first start in the Western Championship.
Jonathan McKennedy Announces Busy 2025 Schedule Between Tour-Type Modifieds, Supermodifieds
Modified and Supermodified winner Jon McKennedy announced Thursday a busy schedule for the 2025 racing season. Again for 2025, McKennedy will compete in both the Tour-Type Modifieds and the Supermodifieds, mixed between multiple different divisions with both classes.
Between all divisions, McKennedy has roughly 35 races planned.

One of the toughest tests of sports car endurance racing takes place with the 73rd Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, with nearly 60 cars and over 160 drivers set to tackle Sebring International Raceway’s legendary and notorious concrete bumps in a quest to win the second race of both the 2025 IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and Michelin Endurance Cup seasons. Flag-to-flag coverage starts Saturday, March 15, at 10:00 a.m. on NBC Sports’ Peacock streaming platform through the conclusion of the race. Taylor Hoar Becomes First Vermont Resident Selected As Kulwicki Finalist
CONCORD, N.C. — Late Model competitor and second-generation driver Taylor Hoar is the first Vermont resident to be selected as a finalist in the prestigious Kulwicki Driver Development Program.
The daughter of eight-time American-Canadian Tour champion Brian Hoar, Taylor also is the first female KDDP finalist since Kate Re in 2022. (more…)
