Chemung, N.Y. – (August 6, 2025) – The Race of Champions Modified Series will continue one of the Southern Tier’s most cherished traditions this Saturday, August 9, with the running of “The Night Before The Glen – Rod Spalding Classic” at Chemung Speedrome — and this year’s event just got a major boost. NASCAR Cup Series star Ryan Preece, of Berlin, Conn., driver of the RKF Racing No. 60, will join the night’s festivities to sign autographs and serve as honorary starter for the 75-lap Modified Series feature. Preece, one of the sport’s most popular and respected drivers, has been on a hot streak and recently appeared on the Dale Jr. Download with Dale Earnhardt Jr., generating national buzz.
