Lou Modestino checks in with an ARCA race report on Gio Ruggiero, from Josh Calloni | TobyChristie.com…

Lou Modestino sends us a report by Joseph Srigley of TobyChristie, that Gio Ruggiero, the defending NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series Rookie of the Year (ROTY), will get the nod to compete in a pair of NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series events this season for Joe Gibbs Racing.

Joseph Srigley of SI.Com reports that TRICON Garage has inked contract extensions with both Tanner Gray and Gio Ruggiero, which will see both drivers return to the championship-winning organization for the 2026 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series campaign.

The 18-year-old has won marquee races in Super Late Model competition
In a SportsNaut article by Matt Weaver, he reports that after spending the past several seasons in Super Late Models and the ARCA Racing Series, Gio Ruggiero is making the leap to the NASCAR Truck Series for a full-time season in 2025.
