With two races completed in the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Racing Series at Grandview Speedway Brett Kressley is on top in the T.P. Trailers Modifieds and Kenny Gilmore leads the standings for the T.P.Truck Equipment Sportsman. A third class of competition, not part of the NASCAR sanctioned events, has Glenn Strunk leading in the new 602 Sportsman division which will be seen in a handfull of races this season. Loudon, NH — Reigning American-Canadian Tour (ACT) champion Jimmy Hebert of Williamstown, VT finally scored a long-awaited victory at Loudon’s New Hampshire Motor Speedway (NHMS) on Sunday, April 18 in the inaugural Northeast Classic. Richmond Raceway has been known by several different names and has been reconfigured several times over the years of its existence, but all the while it has been a staple on the NASCAR Cup Series schedule since 1953. Justin Bonsignore Opens Whelen Modified Tour Season With Third-Place Finish At Martinsville Speedway
MARTINSVILLE, Va. — Justin Bonsignore opened the 2021 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season and his quest for a third series championship with a third-place finish at Martinsville Speedway on Thursday night, April 8. The driver of the No. 51 Coastal-Fiber, Kenneth Massa Motorsports machine was forced to start at the tail of the 35-car field after originally qualifying seventh, as the team found a potential leak and were forced to take a deeper look prior to the green. Connecticut Connections in the NASCAR Cup Race at Martinsville
Joey Logano of Middletown, CT will start on the pole in Sunday’s Cup race at Martinsville, VA while Ryan Preece will try to his best coming from the 17th spot. Cory LaJoie, son of two-time Xfinity Series titlist Randy LaJoie is from Norwalk, CT, starts 34th while Anthony Alfredo will do it from the 35th position.
