With two-time defending champion Vinnie Arrenegado making the full-time move to the Pro Stocks in 2024, the battle for the Late Model title chase will commence with multiple drivers to watch. Saturday was the perfect day for racing with temperatures hovering just above 60 degrees, a light breeze and not a cloud in the sky. It was the opposite of the weather the week prior, where rain had plagued Wiscasset Speedway during their 2024 season opener. Lehighton, PA – (April 22, 2024) – The Race of Champions Modified Series opened it’s 2024 campaign this past Saturday at Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton, PA, with the running of the “Spring Meltdown” 75. Matt Hirschman of Northampton, PA, took the lead with just two laps remaining in the race and went on to earn the 58th victory of his career in the Series 299th race.
