Kaulig Racing’s AJ Allmendinger is two-for-two when it comes to bagging NASCAR Xfinity Series Regular Season Championships, becoming the first driver in series history to do so. Other drivers that have earned a Regular Season Championship are Elliott Sadler (2017), Justin Allgaier (2018), Tyler Reddick (2019) and Austin Cindric (2020).
The NASCAR Xfinity Series will be heading to “The Last Great Coliseum” to run in Friday’s Food City 300 at 7:30 p.m. ET on the USA Network, the NBC Sports App, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR radio.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Sept. 14, 2022) – The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series schedule was announced today, and like 2022, the DAYTONA 500, NASCAR’s biggest and most prestigious event, will kick off NASCAR’s 75th Anniversary season while the Coke Zero Sugar 400 will again be final race of the regular season. In addition, the schedules for the NASCAR Xfinity and NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series ’23 schedules were released.
HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – For the 34th time in his NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour career, Justin Bonsignore was celebrating in Victory Lane on Saturday night. Bonsignore rocketed to his third win of the season in the Toyota Budweiser Mod Classic 150 – holding off a late charge from Chuck Hossfeld to get back to Victory Lane.
It was wall to wall racing Saturday evening at Riverhead Raceway with nine feature events totaling 270-laps presented before another large turnout. When the dust settled on the 50-lap NASCAR Modified feature Dylan Slepian of Dix Hills sat in the winners circle for the third time this season while in the companion 100-lap Eagle Auto Mall Crate Modified event Michael Berner of Patchogue notched his second win of the season. It all comes down to this weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series regular season finale, the Coke Zero Sugar 400 at Daytona International Speedway, this Saturday, August 27 at 7 p.m. ET on NBC, MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, and if history is any indicator of what to expect this weekend, everybody has a shot at the win.
