Testimony From Denny Hamlin Highlights Second Day of NASCAR Trial

Denny HamlinCHARLOTTE, N.C.—Sparks flew in Judge Kenneth D. Bell’s courtroom on Monday after Denny Hamlin took the stand for his second day of testimony in the 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports v. NASCAR trial in the Western District of North Carolina courthouse.

In the conclusion of direct examination from Jeanifer Parsigian, Hamlin acknowledged that 23XI Racing, co-owned by Hamlin, former NBA superstar Michael Jordan and Curtis Polk, had turned a profit of more than $2 million in 2022 and more than $3.5 million in 2023.

Seekonk, MA — Derry, New Hampshire’s Erick Sands earned another season-ending treat in the Milton CAT Haunted Hundred at Massachusetts’ Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, October 25, winning the event for the second year in a row. Sands took the lead from Quebec City, Quebec’s William Larue on lap 61 and motored away down the stretch. Behind him, Larue’s teammate Raphael Lessard of Vallée-Jct., Quebec put a bow on the 2025 Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour (ACT) championship, bringing the title to Canada for the first time since 2008.

Riverhead’s longtime co-owner Eddie Partridge passed away in 2021 shortly after his team won a Modified Tour race at Richmond Raceway with Ryan Preece. To honor his memory, the fall Tour event at Riverhead was renamed the Eddie Partridge 256, all while a replica of Partridge’s car remains suspended over the track.

Riverhead RacewayKyle Ellwood of Riverhead notched his second NASCAR Modified victory of 2025 when he passed John Beatty Jr. of Merrick with twenty laps remaining in Saturday’s 50-lap feature event at Riverhead Raceway. Beatty would have the last laugh though when he sewed-up his third consecutive NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Modified championship with his runner-up finish. Beatty joins Charlie Jarzombek (1976-1978) and Don Howe (1993-1995) as the only drivers to earn three Modified championships in succession.

BOWMANVILLE, Ontario (August 30, 2025) ― The Trans Am Series presented by Pirelli returned to Canadian Tire Motorsport Park (CTMP) and was once again met with exciting battles and results affecting championship hunts. In the TA class, defending champion Paul Menard scored his second-consecutive win at the Bowmanville, Ontario track, while rookie Tristan McKee tallied his third CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series victory in four races. Toronto-born Roberto Sabato found vindication at his home track, winning in the CUBE 3 Architecture TA2 Series Pro/Am Challenge after an early crash took him out of contention last season. Finally, Ontario native James Beaton earned the win in the XGT class with his second-consecutive victory in the class.
