Jon McKennedy Pockets $10K in Opening Monaco Modified Icebreaker 75

Thompson, CT — Sunny Saturday greeted the fans at Thompson Speedway to kick off the 52nd Icebreaker with thirty cars filling out the Monaco Modified field. Ronnie Williams quickly took the point with just 75 laps on the board to claim the $10,000 winners share at the end. Berndt would put the hammer down in his #11CT to steal the lead away from Williams with Jon McKennedy taking advantage of the backslide to take second. While McKenndy crept up on Berndt at the front, fans had their eye on Mike Christopher Jr. and Ron Silk as they made their way into the top five by lap thirty.

Grandview Speedway Hosts Two-Day Race Weekend, High Limit 410 Sprints Are May 19
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Following another wildly exciting and competitive night of racing last Saturday, Grandview Speedway is ready to present the first two-day race weekend of the new season.
The weekend of racing at Grandview Speedway will begin on Friday, April 17, as the Outlaw Racing Series Enduro and Vintage cars will be in action joined by the Keystone Sport Compact Series Four Cylinders and the Xcel 600 Modifieds starting at 7 pm. Pit gates will be opening at 2 pm, and grandstand gates open at 5 pm. Grandstand admission is $10, children ages 12 and under are admitted free, while pit admission is $35.

The 2026 NASCAR Local Racing Series Powered by O’Reilly Auto Parts gets the opening weekend party started with seven divisions of racing on NASCAR Pack the Track Night Saturday May 2nd, with the annual May Meltdown is set to round out opening weekend Sunday May 3rd featuring Enduro and INEX Bandolero racing.

Ryan Blaney won the Cup race at Phoenix while Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in13th while Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished 31st while Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT placed 33rd. Justin Allgaier won the O’Rielly Series race there with Anthony Alfredo came home in tenth. In the Indy Car race at Arlington, TX had Kyle Kirkwood got to Victory Lane with Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT finishing in 17th .

Tyler Reddick won the Cup race with Ryan Preece coming in 13th and Joey Logano of Middletown, CT ending up 34th. Justin Allgaier took the O’Reilly Series with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT coming in 12th. The Craftsman Trucks saw Corey Heim take that one while Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA was eighth while Corey LaJoie ended up 21st. Corey’s dad is Randy LaJoie from Norwalk, CT who also is a two-time O’ Reilly Champion.

Woodford, VA – Officials with the Appalachian Sucker Punch ASA STARS National Tour, Track Enterprises, and Dominion Raceway have announced that ebb Logistics will serve as the title sponsor of the series’ upcoming event at Dominion Raceway in Woodford, Virginia on Sunday, April 26, 2026. The 250-lap Super Late Model race will be known as the ebb Logistics 250 presented by Cornerstone Homes.
The event will mark the ASA STARS National Tour’s return to the fast 4/10-mile oval in Virginia following an exciting inaugural visit to the track last season.
Lyn St. James Shared the Limelight with Paul Newman at Lime Rock

Lyn St. James recorded many milestones in a career that spanned four decades, including seven starts in the Indianapolis 500 and class victories in both the Rolex 24 at Daytona and the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring. She also remains one of the sport’s most visible advocates for women in motorsports.
At Lime Rock Park, St. James famously shared the spotlight with actor and racer Paul Newman during the 1989 SCCA Trans Am race when the two became tangled in an opening lap incident that left one car perched on top of the other.

LAKEVILLE, Connecticut (12 March 2026) – Lime Rock Park will welcome Tommy Kendall, Dorsey Schroeder and Mike Joy to Historic Festival 44 during Labor Day weekend, September 3–7, as the Connecticut circuit celebrates the return of Historic Trans Am racing to its 1.5-mile course.
The legendary trio, whose names are synonymous with Trans Am racing and have all had a wide-ranging impact on the sport, will appear throughout the weekend meeting fans, participating in autograph sessions and celebrating the era of American V8 road racing that defined the Trans Am series through the 1990s.
