"Cleetus McFarland” to Make NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series Debut with Richard Childress Racing in 2026WELCOME, NC (March 4, 2026) – Garrett Mitchell, commonly known as “Cleetus McFarland” to his millions of YouTube subscribers, is scheduled to make his NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series (NOAPS) debut in 2026 for Richard Childress Racing (RCR) with support from Tommy’s Express, a rapidly growing national car wash chain with more than 270 locations across the United States, Canada and France. Mitchell is scheduled to race the No. 33 Tommy’s Express Chevrolet as a third entry in RCR’s championship-winning NOAPS program.

Here’s How Northeast Drivers Finished At COTA (NASCAR) and St. Pete (Indy Car)

Lou Modestino Track TalkTyler Reddick won the Cup race at COTA (3 in a row!) .  Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished 15th.  Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT ended up 18th.
The O’Reilly race was taken by Shane Van Gisbergen with Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT ending his day in 23rd.
In the NASCAR Craftsman race At St. Pete, Layne Riggs won that one with Gio Ruggiero of Seekonk, MA finishing 25th . Stewart Friesen of NJ was next.
Also, Alex Palou won the Indy Car event while Santino of Woodbury, CT ended his bad day in 24th.

After a short break from stock car racing to pursue open-wheel competition, Hailie Deegan is back with familiar faces. The Temecula, Calif., native will return to the ARCA Menards Series West (AMSW) with Bill McAnally Racing (BMR) for the 2026 season. Deegan launched her progression through the NASCAR ranks at BMR, where she took her first major step on the national radar from 2017-19. The pairing produced three wins and 13 top-five finishes across two AMSW seasons. Deegan’s return to BMR is a strategic move to reestablish comfort and compete to win races on a weekly basis.

Robust schedules for both the Race of Champions Modified and Sportsman Modified Series headline the announcement.

The Modified Series schedule features several traditional dates, including a return to Shangri-La II Speedway near Owego, NY, along with additional appearances at Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton, PA. The Series will also return for a third consecutive season to Lee and Peggy Gill’s Evans Mills Raceway Park.
