When it comes to a wildcard events on the NASCAR Cup Series 2022 season schedule, look no further than this weekend’s Ambetter 301 on July 17 at 3 p.m. ET on USA Network, PRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Not only is the unique short track a one of a kind on the schedule, but it has also produced a large number of longshot winners starting outside the top-20.

N. Woodstock, NH — White Mountain Motorsports Park will celebrate its 30th season of competition on Saturday, May 14 and Sunday, May 15. A doubleheader weekend is planned to mark the occasion with eight divisions in action highlighted by the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models.
The North Woodstock oval first opened its doors in 1993. With that year being the first of racing on the high banks, 2022 will be year number 30 for “Thunder in the Mountains”. Track officials have thus made the first weekend one that will set the tone for a huge season ahead.
The NASCAR Cup Series playoffs continue with a trip to Kansas Speedway on October 24. Parker Kligerman of Westport, CT will use the race as an opportunity to make his return to the top level, and he will partner with Gaunt Brothers Racing while making the start.
Denny Hamlin showed why he has to be considered a top threat to win it all at Las Vegas, leading a race high 137 laps and dominating the final portion of the race. (more…)
