The three-time Supercars champion has just three races remaining in the NASCAR Xfinity Series before the playoffs begin and will be part of the Round of 12 thanks to his win at Portland Raceway.
In the first round of the playoffs, there is just one road course-style race on the Charlotte Motor Speedway ‘Roval’ where he stands a good chance of winning.

Michael McDowell led a race high 54 laps on his way to his second Cup win, but a win that puts a lot of pressure on several bubble drivers. While securing his place in the playoffs, he leaves Daniel Suarez, Ty Gibbs, Chase Elliott and Alex Bowman wondering what’s next with just two races to go in the regular season.
I wasn’t sure how this street race in Chicago would turn out. While hoping for the best, I was on the fence not only about the drivers’ ability to not turn this into a crashfest into Turn 1, but also thought this much-hyped event was nothing more than another NASCAR gimmick to drive eyes onto the sport even for a brief period of time.
N. Woodstock, NH — The 2022 J.P. Sicard Flying Tiger Triple Crown Series went out with a bang Saturday at White Mountain Motorsports Park as twenty Wells River Chevrolet Flying Tigers converged onto the North Woodstock high banks to close out the first championship of the season. Although Jason Woodard battled hard, it wasn’t enough to take another White Mountain crown as a couple young guns took down career first wins on J.P. Sicard Saturday. (more…)
