MEXICO CITY – Shane van Gisbergen stood tall on the highest Victory Podium step, wearing a traditional Mexican sombrero and spraying champagne to celebrate his win in Sunday’s Viva Mexico 250 at the world-renowned Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez in Mexico City.
The entire sport undoubtedly felt equally as triumphant following the first international points-paying NASCAR Cup Series race weekend in half a century.
PHOENIX, Ariz., (February 25, 2025) – Flying Lizard Motorsports is set to continue its successful campaign in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America championship for a fourth consecutive season, returning to the grid with a two-car effort for 2025. The team will field a two-car entry in the competitive one-make series, returning with Paul Nemschoff and Marc Miller reprising their racing duties in the No. 41 Huracan Super Trofeo Evo EVO2, and Slade Stewart and Andy the No. 14 Lamborghini pink unicorn Lamborghini known as Sparklefarts. ST. CHARLES, Ill. (December 11, 2024) – AO Racing’s beloved dragon, Spike, is ready to spread his wings for his sophomore season in the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship. The team has unveiled an impressive driver lineup for its seven-race campaign, led by returning driver PJ Hyett in the distinctive purple-and-orange LMP2 machine.
