Barre, VT & Naples, ME — After weeks of careful planning, the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Star Series (PASS) have finalized and released the 2025 schedule for Thompson Speedway. Beginning in late March through Columbus Day weekend in October, rolling thunder returns to the ‘Quiet Corner of Connecticut’ for ten individual dates in 2025 including the annual Icebreaker and Sunoco World Series weekends along with a return to monthly Wednesday night racing! In an Instagram posting by D2 Motorsports Racing (@d2motorsportsracing), Former NASCAR Cup Series competitor Jeremy Mayfield has just been announced as the team driver for the 2025 season in the Grand National Super Series (@grandnationalsuperseries) (GNSS).
The Grand National Super Series describes themselves as “America’s newest full/steel bodied stock car series!”. More information can be found on their Instagram page and their website.
GNSS races in the North Carolina and Virginia areas, based on their 2024 schedule. Tracks include Carteret County Speedway in NC and Lonesome Pines Raceway in VA.

TEMPERANCE, Mich. – The 2025 schedules for the ARCA Menards Series East and ARCA Menards Series West have been announced, with eight races slated for the East and a dozen on tap for the West. The East will run four stand-alone races and four in combination with the ARCA Menards Series, while the West will run a single race in combination with the ARCA Menards Series. (more…)
Bad news for defending Snowball Derby winner Ty Majeski. A chunk of asphalt came off the track and damaged his car. The NASCAR Truck Series champion is looking to become the second three-time winner in the history of the race.
The track at Five Flags Speedway has cracks and character. Unfortunately, too much character. A piece of the track did damage to the nose and duct work of the No. 91 according to Matt Weaver of Sportsnaut. (more…)

TEMPERANCE, Mich. — The ARCA Menards Series has announced a television broadcast agreement extension with FS1 and FS2 that features a full season of live television coverage in 2025. Additionally, as part of the new agreement, the 2025 ARCA Menards Series season-opener at Daytona International Speedway will air live on FOX, marking the first time in series history a race has aired on broadcast television.
