Lehighton, PA – (April 22, 2024) – The Race of Champions Modified Series opened it’s 2024 campaign this past Saturday at Mahoning Valley Speedway in Lehighton, PA, with the running of the “Spring Meltdown” 75. Matt Hirschman of Northampton, PA, took the lead with just two laps remaining in the race and went on to earn the 58th victory of his career in the Series 299th race.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway’s 52nd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® has added ARCA Menards Series driver and Modified veteran Andy Jankowiak to the entry list. Jankowiak will be piloting his family owned #73 with sponsorship from Automotive Consultants, Florida Safety Systems, and Yukon Creek Sportsman Club. Jankowiak has had the Sizzler® in his sights for the last several seasons, but scheduling conflicts with the ARCA Menards Series had prevented him from making the trip to the Connecticut half-mile facility.
Barre, VT — After starting off the season at the largest speedway in New England, the American-Canadian Tour is ready to roll into the State of Maine for the Pine Tree State 125 at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday, April 28. After having to cancel this weekend’s opening events due to continued water build-up in the parking areas along Route 26, next weekend’s doubleheader with the Oxford Championship Series on Saturday will serve as the 75th season opener for Oxford Plains Speedway. The NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Truck Series is taking two weekends off while the Xfinity Series and Cup Series tackle the high banks of Talladega Superspeedway and then head to the concrete oval of Dover Motor Speedway.
The CRAFTSMAN Truck Series will return to competition under the lights at Kansas Speedway for the Heart Of America 200 (Saturday, May 4 at 8 p.m. ET on FS1, MRN, and SiriusXM Radio).
