WINCHESTER, N.H. — With just a few laps to go, Justin Bonsignore was in the right place to make a move in Sunday’s Duel at the Dog 200 at Monadnock Speedway. Bonsignore, a three-time NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour champion, pounced when Matt Hirschman got together with lapped traffic and scored his 33rd career Whelen Modified Tour win and fourth on the high-banks of Monadnock.
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Craig Von Dohren of Oley, Pa. arrived in second position with just six laps remaining in Saturday night’s 30-lap T.P. Trailer NASCAR Modified feature event, however lapped traffic allowed him to catch and pass Jeff Strunk of Boyertown, Pa. with just a lap and a half remaining, to give Von Dohren his fourth point race win of the season at Grandview Speedway. Monadnock Speedway will roar back to life this weekend, on Saturday, June 18, as a six-division card, headlined by the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, returns to the high-banks in New Hampshire.
HOLTSVILLE, N.Y. – After a few weeks off, Justin Bonsignore and the rest of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour drivers are heading to Monadnock Speedway this Saturday, June 18, for the Duel at the Dog 200. As the sixth race of the season for the Whelen Modified Tour, Monadnock will mark the beginning of a two-week stretch of races for the Tour – which will also include a return to Riverhead Raceway on June 25.
THOMPSON, Conn. – For the second time in as many starts at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in the 2022 Outlaw Open Modified Series season, Mike Christopher Jr. was in Victory Lane Wednesday at the Connecticut oval. Christopher rocketed to the lead with 58 laps complete in the Nutmeg State 75 presented by Twisted Tea and held off multiple challengers on multiple restarts to win the $5,000 prize.
