Stephen Kopcik took down his first SK Modified® feature win of the 2022 season, while Kevin Gambacorta in the Late Model feature and Rich Hammann in the Limited Late Model feature events were both winners for the second consecutive week. LEE, N.H. – For the second straight NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour race, Doug Coby was on top Saturday. Coby rocketed to Victory Lane in the inaugural Granite State Derby presented by USA Insulation at Lee USA Speedway – taking the Tommy Baldwin Racing No. 7NY into Lee’s winner’s circle in the first Tour appearance at the track in over two decades.
LEE, N.H. – In the early stages of Saturday afternoon’s Granite State Derby at Lee USA Speedway, Joey Doiron seemed more likely to place than to win. But the first horse across the finish line is not always the fastest horse out of the gate.
BECHTELSVILLE, PA. – Craig Von Dohren of Oley, Pa. was able to race from 12th starting position and into the lead by lap seven, then outduel Jeff Strunk of Boyertown, Pa. in the final laps to score his second point race victory of the season in the 30-lap T.P.
