(Salem, IN) This Saturday, October 2nd ARCA makes its much anticipated return to the historic High Banks of Salem Speedway, for the Sioux Chief PowerPEX 200 Presented by Scott County Tourism. If a racing series had a home track Salem Speedway would be just that for the ARCA Menards Series. With 106 visits since 1955, Salem Speedway holds the record for the most ARCA events in history.
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Tim Fuller winning a big race is nothing new, but the way he did it in the “Slate Valley 100” at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, September 26, was a bit of a surprise. The former Super DIRTcar Series champion stormed past dirt Modified hotshot Matt Sheppard and ran away from everyone to pocket $10,000 in the early-autumn special. STAFFORD, Conn. — Doug Coby came up one spot short of ending the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season in Victory Lane on Saturday, September 25 at Stafford Motor Speedway. STAFFORD, Conn. — Justin Bonsignore sealed his third career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship on Saturday, September 25 at Stafford Motor Speedway. Bonsignore accomplished the goal in fine fashion — taking down his first career win at the Connecticut half-mile after 40 times of coming up short.
MILFORD, Conn. — With just one race remaining in the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season, Doug Coby is heading back to his home track this Saturday, September 25. Coby will drive the No. 10 Mayhew Tools Modified in the NAPA Fall Final 150 at Stafford Motor Speedway, the season-finale for the tour. (Stafford Springs, CT)— Stafford Speedway hosted Weekly Racing action on Friday, September 24 with all 5 of its divisions in feature action. The SK Modified® feature saw Todd Owen declared the winner after post-race inspection determined that original feature winner Stephen Kopcik and third place finisher Jon Puleo did not meet rule 20E – 12.3 Coil Over Shocks and both cars were disqualified from the feature finish. Twelve time Grandview Speedway T.P.Trailers Modified champion Craig Von Dohren has been named the 2021 NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series Northeast Region champion earning the veteran Oley, PA driver $15,000. This goes along with the $3,500 that that popular racer earned from NASCAR as track champion and $10,000 that he received from the Rogers family for winning their Grandview Speedway track title.
