CHARLOTTE, N.C. — FOX Sports embarks on its 19th DAYTONA 500 and 22nd consecutive season of NASCAR coverage Feb. 15 at Daytona International Speedway, culminating with the 64th running of the DAYTONA 500 on Sunday, Feb. 20 (2:30 PM ET on FOX and FOX Deportes). Live prerace coverage begins on FS1 with NASCAR RACEDAY at 11:00 AM ET, before the show’s move to FOX at 1:00 PM ET.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (Jan. 7, 2022) – DAYTONA Speedweeks Presented by AdventHealth, which culminates with the 64th Annual DAYTONA 500 on Sunday, Feb. 20, will kick off on-track activity on Tuesday and Wednesday (Feb. 15-16) with DAYTONA 500 practice and DAYTONA 500 Qualifying Presented By Busch Light, allowing fans more opportunities to see NASCAR’s new, anticipated ’Next Gen’ cars on the high banks of the World Center of Racing.
When the Granite State Pro Stock Series shifts the 2021 season into gear at Stafford Speedway on April 24 as part of NAPA Opening Day, one of the favorites among the “outsiders” would be Derek Griffith.
Derek Griffith, one of the hottest Super Late Model drivers in the country, will be making his South Alabama Speedway debut on Sunday for the 45th Annual Rattler 250. The 24-year-old native of Hudson, N.H., is coming off his second straight World Series of Asphalt Late Model championship held in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., as part of Florida Speedweeks last month. Just as impressive is he earned seven top-10 finishes in eight starts in the ARCA Menards Series in 2020.
Before racing season begins in the Northeast, Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH will head back south to chase after a rattlesnake. Fresh off a second consecutive World Series of Asphalt Super Late Model championship, the New Hampshire driver will make his Rattler 250 debut next weekend, March 12-14. After a strong Florida Speedweeks, the team felt it was as good of a time as ever to make the trip to South Alabama Speedway and try their hand at the early-season crown jewel.
