With the huge announcement of the nationally renowned SRX Series debuting at Thunder Road on Thursday, July 20th and with the need for Friday, July 21st as a possible rain-date, shifting the schedule became paramount.

The SRX Series will pit the best of multiple racing disciplines against one another in identical cars on six short tracks across the country live on ESPN’s reestablished Thursday Night Thunder.

Stafford Springs, CT will host the first event of the 2023 season, Thursday, July 13th. The entire SRX schedule will air live on ESPN under the “ESPN Thursday Night Thunder” branding.
Tony Stewart’s all-star summer racing series is moving to ESPN and a new night as the network plans to use SRX to revitalize its “Thursday Night Thunder.”
