WINSTON SALEM, N.C. (Aug. 17, 2024) – Today, NASCAR announced The Clash will come to historic Bowman Gray Stadium for the first-time as the opening exhibition event for the 2025 season on Feb. 2. The announcement was made by Ben Kennedy as part of pre-race for tonight’s NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series event at the racetrack. This will mark the first NASCAR Cup Series event at the racetrack in 54 years. The Clash at Bowman Gray Stadium will be broadcast live on FOX.
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (March 21, 2024) – Today, NASCAR announced that it has acquired Winston-Salem Speedway, Inc., the lessee of the historic Bowman Gray Stadium. NASCAR will manage racing operations under the lease with the City of Winston-Salem that runs through Dec. 2050.
Barre, VT — As officials, teams and fans make their last-minute preparations for the holiday season, the American-Canadian Tour office released the Full Season Entry Form for the 2024 season ahead. The Full Season Entry entitles a team to all 13 American-Canadian Tour point-counting events during 2024 season for just $700, a $275 discount if mailed before March 1st. After March 1st, the Full Season Entry will be available for $1,000. East Kingston, New Hampshire’s Bryan Wall Jr. turned in the first official entry received at the ACT office on Monday.
The 50th running of the Turkey Derby at Wall Stadium Speedway in Wall, New Jersey was plagued by a number of caution flags throughout the event, but in the end it was pole-sitter ‘Big Money’ Matt Hirschman scoring his eight victory in the prestigious event at the 0.333-mile speedway. Saturday night’s win was Hirschman’s fifth win in the last six Turkey Derby events and secured him a $15,000 payday. (more…)

Barre, VT and Naples, ME — Officials from the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced today that with many Tour-type Modified Teams being committed to the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Friday and Saturday, officials felt it best to postpone the Twisted Tea Midsummer 75 event to Tuesday, August 16 and create an exciting doubleheader event to coincide the with the Phoenix Communications 150 for the NASCAR Modifieds on Wednesday, August 17th.
