Tyler Tomassi Looks To Break Into Victory Lane With GSPSS at Star Speedway
WALPOLE, N.H. — Rising Super Late Model driver Tyler Tomassi will look to break into Victory Lane for the first time with the Granite State Pro Stock Series this Saturday, May 8 at Star Speedway. Although Tomassi has no previous laps at Star, he’s hoping to become a quick study of the tricky New Hampshire oval and be there at the end of the Hedges Excavating 100.

Supercross Series Delivers a Season of Groundbreaking Firsts
ELLENTON, Fla., (May 4, 2021) – The 2021 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship was supposed to be a step back to normalcy after 2020’s incredible Responsible Return to Racing protocol that saw the racers and teams concluding the season – all seven remaining rounds – at a single venue. With new protocols, the 2021 season promised more venues, more traditional track variances, and a limited number of fans in attendance. The season delivered all that, but the racing wasn’t back to normal. It was extraordinary.

BECHTELSVILLE, PA May 2, 2021 . . . The chase for the championships, part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, continues at Grandview Speedway with Brett Kressley continuing to be the leader in the T.P.Trailers Modified division. With two wins and 1131 points Kressley has just a 19 point lead over defending champion Craig Von Dohren who has 1112 but has yet to visit victory lane. Jared Umbenhauer sits third in the standings with 1033 points followed by Jeff Strunk at 977 and Louden Reimert holding 941. Kressley has two wins while Jared Umbenhauer and Danny Bouc each have one win. There have been 43 teams earn points. (more…)

NASCAR Xfinity Series News & Notes – Off Weekend
Time was of the essence on Saturday as a thunderstorm was barreling toward Talladega Superspeedway in the middle of the NASCAR Xfinity Series race. The competition was fierce but as the skies opened up, it was Kaulig Racing’s Jeb Burton that was able to hold onto the lead just before the final caution came out before the race was red-flagged and ultimately called because of weather securing his first career NASCAR Xfinity Series win.
