SEBRING, Florida (March 21, 2025) – “Deflated” but not down, the No. 80 Lone Star Racing Mercedes-AMG GT3 team and co-drivers Dan Knox, Scott Andrews and Eric Filgueiras left the 12 Hours of Sebring last Saturday motivated for the final three rounds of the 2025 IMSA Michelin Endurance Cup (IMEC) at Watkins Glen, Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) and Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta (MRRA). The team and drivers turned in one of their best races since entering the IMEC GT Daytona (GTD) championship last year and missed out on a likely top-five or better finish only because the No. 80 Mercedes-AMG GT3 suffered a cut tire with just 44 minutes remaining in the 73rd running of America’s oldest major sports car race. Modified and Supermodified winner Jon McKennedy announced Thursday a busy schedule for the 2025 racing season. Again for 2025, McKennedy will compete in both the Tour-Type Modifieds and the Supermodifieds, mixed between multiple different divisions with both classes.
Between all divisions, McKennedy has roughly 35 races planned.
CONCORD, N.C. — Late Model competitor and second-generation driver Taylor Hoar is the first Vermont resident to be selected as a finalist in the prestigious Kulwicki Driver Development Program.

The new season is right around the corner for short-track veteran Woody Pitkat. Officially announced Tuesday, Pitkat will return to compete full-time with the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series in 2025. The series has jumped to a 10-race schedule for the new year, spread across seven different tracks from March to October.
Pitkat will drive for Jett Motorsports on the Tri-Track Series – a team owned by Jariah Roderick and Steve Rollins. The team will run eight of the 10 events with the No. 88, sponsored by Infinity Homes, Gunsmoke Stables and USNE Power.
Teddy Hodgdon Racing announced today their schedule for the 2025 season in the No. 55 Tour-Type Modified – one that will bring the team up and down the East Coast. For the first time in his career, driver Teddy Hodgdon will make five NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour (NWMT) starts. DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (February 14, 2025) – Today, NASCAR announced that it will officially partner with Honor and Remember through its NASCAR IMPACT platform to bring Gold Star families to tracks across the country. As a part of this new partnership, Honor and Remember – whose mission is to “publicly honor and remember every American fallen service member and recognize the enduring sacrifice of every family” – will host two Gold Star families at Daytona International Speedway for the United Rentals 300 and the 67th running of the DAYTONA 500.
