Circuit of the Americas COTAFormula 1 today announced that the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) in Austin, Texas, is set to remain on the calendar until the 2034 season inclusive. The new deal secures the long-term future of the event as Formula 1 continues to experience significant growth across the United States.

Edan Thornburrow is gearing up to go to the United States in a bid to further his Trans Am career.  The Sydneysider is set to test a TA2 car with F.A.S.T Auto Racing at Sebring International Raceway across January 20-21.  Thornburrow is planning to contest the season-opener at the same circuit on February 20-23 with a view towards a full-time campaign. Christopher Bell made it to Victory Lane in the Cup race with Joey Logano of Middletown, CT coming in 14th and Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT took 26th with Boston’s Kaz Grala ending up 34th while Corey LaJoie ended his day in 35th.
Corey LaJoie is the son of Randy LaJoie who called Norwalk, CT home before he moved to Charlotte, NC to be closer to the NASCAR action in which he won a pair of Xfinity Championships.
Chase Elliott came home the victor in the Xfinity Series race with Kyle Weatherman ended up 10th and Anthony Alfredo of Ridgefield, CT got 16th, Patrick Emerling of Long Island, NY came in 30th, Blain Perkins was 35th and Parker Kligerman of Stamford, CT ended up 37th. Weatherman and Perkins both drive team cars for Cape Cod’s Chris and Mary Our that get their US Mail in Harwich, MA.
Tanner Gray won the Menards ARCA Series while Andy Jankowiak of Buffalo, NY came in 16th.
Joseph Newgarden won the Indy 500 and Santino Ferrucci of Woodbury, CT. Ferrucci was also in the hunt for the entire 500 miles

United States Air Force Set to Fly, Fight and Win with  23XI Racing and Bubba Wallace

Huntersville, N.C. (Jan. 9, 2024) – 23XI Racing announced today that the United States Air Force, the world’s preeminent airpower, will serve as a primary partner with Bubba Wallace and the No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE team for several races during the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series season.
