The race will total 400 laps, split into three segments at 100, 100, and 200 laps respectively, each paying $25,000 to win, with the overall winner collecting an additional $25,000 for having the lowest average finish from each of the three segments. A single driver could win $100,000 by sweeping the three segments. (more…)

Goodyear Racing Notes – Las Vegas Motor Speedway
The Goodyear Racing Eagle tire setups awaiting NASCAR Cup Series and NASCAR Xfinity Series teams at Las Vegas Motor Speedway will be the same left- and right-side tire pairings both series used at Kansas Speedway two weeks ago.
This weekend marks only the second time both series will run these right-side tires, which means teams can lean on their Kansas data to refine their strategies ahead of Las Vegas. The left side tires across both Xfinity and Cup have been used five times previous this season, so teams come to Vegas with a solid base dataset to work from.
