Barre, VT – Twenty one street legal cars, and a pair of golf cars, took to the highbanks for the annual Run-What-U-Brung festivities on Thursday at Thunder Road. Over fifteen rounds of head-to-head matches finally whittled the field down to two; Street Stock standout Tyler Wheatley and third generation stalwart Howard Stockwell. The tow truck driver went toe-to-toe with the windshield extraordinaire in a finale for the ages with Wheatley taking the overall and Stockwell earning the top four-cylinder honors.

CLAREMONT, N.H. Brandon Gray won Friday night’s 50-lap Super Street Summer Six Pack main event at Claremont Motorsports Park and, with points leader Cody Schoolcraft not in the house Friday, moved to the top of the divisional points parade as the 2025 season enters its stretch run.
Other winners at the 802 Credit Union Night seven-division event included Stephen Donahue, victorious for the second week in a row in the Tour Type Late Models, Ben Poland in the Outlaw LMs, and Brian Robie, who continued his march to the championship by romping in the 604 Modified feature.

Calkins Takes Cody Chevrolet Flying Tiger 100; Donahue Celebrates Late Grandfather with Late Model Victory

Barre, VT – It all came down to Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night for the Myers Container Service Triple Crown championship 100 lap showdown. Cooper French and Rich Lowrey kept things interesting at the front of the pack throughout the opening laps with Derrick Calkins keeping up the pressure for good measure. Flat tires ruined the night for both Ty Delphia in the beginning of the race and Sam Caron towards the end as Lowrey yo-yoed between the lead and second against French and Calkins.

SEEKONK, Mass. — Just five weeks remain in the 2025 Fast Friday and NASCAR racing season at Seekonk Speedway, and this weekend, it’s the final tune-up before the race for the championship begins in September. The fields will be set for the Sunoco Drive For The Cup, with the top six drivers in the championship standings at the end of the August 22-23 events advancing. Many battles are tight – with the decision coming down to the final laps. All races this weekend are regular distance.
