Officials Release 62nd Sunoco World Series Line-Up, Schedule and Pricing for October 11-13

Naples, ME & Barre, VT — Officials from the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and American-Canadian Tour (ACT) released today the 18 division line-up, three-day schedule and pricing for the 62nd Sunoco World Series at Thompson Speedway. The annual celebration of stock car racing on one of the region’s biggest stages will start on Friday, October 11 and wrap up on Sunday, October 13 for three days of heart-pounding action, championship crowning and the perfect exclamation point on the 2024 season at the Big-T! Round Two Of Sunoco Drive For The Cup Playoff Racing This Weekend At Seekonk Speedway

Round Two Of Sunoco Drive For The Cup Playoff Racing This Weekend At Seekonk Speedway

Just three weeks remain in the weekly racing season for 2024 at Seekonk Speedway. This Friday and Saturday night, the Sunoco Drive For The Cup playoffs continue with racing across nine different Seekonk divisions.

The battle is on to gain as many playoff points as possible in all divisions, as drivers continue to try and etch their name into the Final Four. It all begins on Friday night at 7 p.m. with five divisions of racing, followed by another four divisions of NASCAR Saturday racing at 6 p.m. On NASCAR Saturday, the East Coast Towing & Recovery Spectator Drags also will join the show for the final time during a weekly racing event this season. Sunday Program Set for Final Thompson Test & Tune Prior to October’s Sunoco World Series

Barre, VT & Naples, ME — The 0.625-mile oval at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park is back to rip-roaring action this Sunday, September 8 for the Back to School Bash! Headlined by the Back to School Bash 75 for the Thompson Late Models featuring a $17,000 purse, including a $5,000 winners share, the Thompson Sunoco Modifieds, AZ Roofing SK Light Modifieds, Street Stocks and Mini Stocks make it a full card of Sunday afternoon racing at the Big-T!

The Thompson Late Models are expecting quite the invasion for Sunday’s Back to School Bash 75. Top runners Nick Johnson, Derek Gluchacki and Brian Tagg will be among the weekly track championship faithful ready to hold back the flood gates and battle hard on the highbanks for the $5,000 winner’s prize! Longtime hot-shoe Tom Carey III will make his return to Thompson Speedway in the Brookside Ride while the top American-Canadian Tour rookie Kasey Beattie will also make the trek southward for some practice at the northeastern Connecticut oval. It was announced at the drivers meeting on Sunday that the partnership between the American-Canadian Tour and Pro All Stars Series organizations will continue to lease the Thompson Speedway oval for the 2024 season.
