ACT and Thunder Road Honor the best of 2020 at Banquet Of Champions
Barre, VT — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Thunder Road Speedbowl honored the top performers of their 2020 seasons at the Banquet of Champions on Saturday, May 1. Greg Van Alst Gearing Up For Busy April
ANDERSON, Ind.: ARCA Menards Series driver Greg Van Alst was supposed to return familiar territory this weekend.
Van Alst had been slated to return to ARCA CRA Super Series competition this weekend at Anderson (Ind.) Speedway and kickoff a busy month of racing that will include Super Late Models and his second ARCA Menards Series start of 2021.
Thompson Speedway’s Icebreaker Sunday Schedule Moved to Saturday Night Due to Forecast
Waterbury, VT & Naples, ME — The Sunday program of the annual Icebreaker at Connecticut’s Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park has been rescheduled for Saturday, April 10 at approximately 5:30pm. American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials made the decision due to an inclement weather forecast for Sunday, April 11. Derek Griffith Sweeps Easter Bunny Weekend Wins At Hickory
HICKORY, NC (April 3) –Derek Griffith of Hudson, NH withstood a race-long battle with his cross-town rival Joey Polewarcyzk to take the win for the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models Saturday night in the 16th Annual Easter Bunny 150 at Hickory Motor Speedway. With his win, Griffith swept the weekend twins to become the first driver since Preston Peltier to score back-to-back Easter Bunny 150 wins. (more…)
Wayne Helliwell Sweeps Hickory Weekend at ACT Easter Bunny 125
Hickory, NC — Dover, NH’s Wayne Helliwell Jr. pulled a clean sweep of the first American-Canadian Tour (ACT) trip to North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway by winning the Easter Bunny 125 on Saturday, April 3. Helliwell took the lead from New Salem, MA’s Tom Carey III in lapped traffic on the 44th circuit and was unstoppable down the stretch to double up after his victory in the Hickory 125 the night before. Hickory, NC — The American-Canadian Tour (ACT) got its first taste of the “Birthplace of the NASCAR Stars” on Thursday, April 1. Twenty-nine teams made the trip to North Carolina’s Hickory Motor Speedway a day early for an open practice session prior to the Hickory 125 on Friday, April 2 and the Easter Bunny 125 on Saturday, April 3.
