NASCAR Cup Stars Take In The Sights And Sounds Of Mexico City

MEXICO CITY — This is not the pina colada Cancun of your cruise ships, but a vibrant, sprawling, city center full of busy international vibes; welcoming and interesting. Smiling friendly people with places to be.

Beautiful snow-covered mountain peaks loom over Mexico City. Small, colorful taco stands decorate every corner, busy with lunch regulars. The sidewalks are filled with people and the traffic lanes are filled with mopeds and cars, door-to-door, bumper-to-bumper. Car horns and dog barks fill the air. It is a full sensory experience.

And the first big billboard rising out of the Mexico City airport? It advertises Chevrolets.

Aussie Trans Am Regular to Take United States Gamble

Edan Thornburrow is gearing up to go to the United States in a bid to further his Trans Am career. The Sydneysider is set to test a TA2 car with F.A.S.T Auto Racing at Sebring International Raceway across January 20-21. After 19 grueling races across 18 different venues, the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season will conclude this weekend at Toledo Speedway.

Since hosting its first race for the ARCA Menards Series back in 1963, Toledo has occasionally served as the season finale date. Saturday’s Owens Corning 200 will be the fourth consecutive year the ARCA Menards Series championship has been decided at Toledo and the seventh time overall. (more…)

KANSAS CITY, Kansas: Fresh off A.L.L. Construction Racing’s career-best second-place finish in the ARCA Menards Series last Thursday night at Bristol (Tenn.) Motor Speedway with Landen Lewis, team principal Jason Kitzmiller returns to the seat set to take the checkered flag on the team’s limited season schedule in Friday night’s Reese’s 150 at Kansas Speedway.

Lewis made his second consecutive ARCA Menards Series start in “Thunder Valley” driving the team’s No. 97 Chevrolet SS and while the teenage phenom ran into setbacks during the 2023 race, this year’s Bush’s Beans 200 saw Lewis have the potential to surge forward and score the team’s first career ARCA Menards Series victory. Coleman and Telitz Take On 24H Barcelona with Optimum Motorsport

Entering the prestigious event with Optimum Motorsport, they will be joined by Rob Megennis and Frederik Schandorff.

Based in the United Kingdom, Optimum Motorsport is a championship-winning McLaren customer racing team, with a number of successes in their 13 years of racing.
