(Stafford Springs, CT)—The field for the 52nd Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® set for April 27-28 at Stafford Motor Speedway has added 2022 Whelen Modified Tour Rookie of the Year Austin Beers to its entry list. Beers has teamed up with the Jensen Family to drive their #179 Avenue Auto machine in the “The Greatest Race in the History of Spring”.
NASCAR legend Richard Petty feels that this (point) system is “not right” and needs to be done away with, as he said on his X account: “I think NASCAR ought to do away with stage points altogether myself. Sometimes, you have a guy running 4th or 5th, gets more points than the guy that wins the race and that’s not right,” said the 86-year old famous driver to Sports Keda. (more…)

Foxborough, Mass., (April 14, 2024) Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing’s Cooper Webb led every lap and took the win at the Foxborough Supercross; with the victory, Webb tied up the championship points at Round 13 of the 17-round 2024 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. Loudon, NH — Blue skies and sunshine greeted the teams and fans at New Hampshire Motor Speedway on Sunday morning for the 4th annual Northeast Classic. The season opener for the American-Canadian Tour also served as the third round for the PASS Super Late Models and lid-lifter for the R&R Race Parts Street Stock Open Series while also featuring a pair of exhibition events for the Open Tour-type Modifieds and the new Sunoco 604 Modifieds.
