Riverhead Raceway Announces January 26th Awards Celebration, John Beatty Jr. Leads 2023 Parade Of Champions
Riverhead Raceway owners Connie Partridge and Tom Gatz will culminate a successful 2023 season Friday night January 26th, 2024, when they host the 2023 Championship Awards Celebration at Giorgio’s Baiting Hollow. John Beatty Jr. of Merrick, the 2023 NASCAR Modified champion of the Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series will stand front & center for the annual parade of champions at the gala. Burnett Scrap Metals Returns to Title Road Warrior Division Through 2026
Barre, VT — While the annual Banquet of Champions effectively closed out the 2023 racing season at Thunder Road, the Barre, Vermont office continues to be hard at work. As such, Burnett Scrap Metals became the first in to re-up their commitment to Thunder Road International Speedbowl. Historic Season for Todd Owen in SK Modified® Division at Stafford
(Stafford Springs, CT)—For Todd Owen and the #81 Cooker Construction team, 2023 at Stafford Speedway was a historic season that saw Owen become the first driver in the 42-year history of the SK Modified® division to win three consecutive championships. The 2023 season also saw Owen finish in the top-10 in each of the 17 races held and extended a streak of consecutive top-10 finishes to 34 consecutive races, dating back to June of 2022.
Showdown Series Adjusts Auburndale Speedway February Schedule For 602 Modifieds, Tour-Type Modifieds
After discussion with race teams, competitors and fans, Showdown Series officials have decided to update the schedule for the upcoming events at Auburndale Speedway in February during Speedweeks. With the new adjustments, the 602 Modifieds and Tour-Type Modifieds will compete in racing action at Auburndale on Thursday, February 8 and Friday, February 9 only.
ACT & PASS Announce 604 Modifieds Added to Northeast Classic at NHMS
Barre, VT & Naples, ME — Officials from the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS) announced on Wednesday that with the continued support and numerous calls fielded by the two organizations for the new Sunoco 604 Modified Division at Thompson Speedway, the new division has been added to the Northeast Classic line-up for Saturday, April 13th at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Kevin Gambacorta Makes Stafford Speedway Track History With Late Model Championship
(Stafford Springs, CT)—After 11 seasons of chasing the Late Model title at Stafford Speedway, Kevin Gambacorta and the #23 Lavigne Law team were finally able to lock down the championship in 2023. Gambacorta was already one of 14 drivers to have won Stafford track championships in different divisions but his Late Model title enters him into the Stafford record books as the first driver to have won a championship in three different divisions.
