American-Canadian Tour Full Season Entry for 2024 Released, Wall First to Return

Barre, VT ­— As officials, teams and fans make their last-minute preparations for the holiday season, the American-Canadian Tour office released the Full Season Entry Form for the 2024 season ahead. The Full Season Entry entitles a team to all 13 American-Canadian Tour point-counting events during 2024 season for just $700, a $275 discount if mailed before March 1st. After March 1st, the Full Season Entry will be available for $1,000. East Kingston, New Hampshire’s Bryan Wall Jr. turned in the first official entry received at the ACT office on Monday.

Thompson, CT — A capacity crowd of over 200 officials, drivers, team members, sponsors and families packed the Speedway Clubhouse at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park for the 2023 Banquet of Champions on Friday. All five divisions were on hand and well represented as they celebrated their accomplishments with positive comradery and excitement for the upcoming year.

George Bessette, Jr. Captures 2023 SK Light Championship at Stafford

(Stafford Springs, CT)—In a season that was filled with peaks and valleys for George Bessette, Jr., the driver of the #39 Lasco Roofing and Sheet Metal SK Light was able to take home the 2023 SK Light championship.  The SK Light championship marks the second time Bessette has won a Stafford track championship with his first championship coming during the 2018 season in the Street Stock division.

Driving the No. 8, John-Michael Shenette will chase the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour Rookie of the Year honors in 2024. When the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour begins a 16-race schedule in February at New Smyrna Speedway in Florida, Shenette plans to be in attendance.
