LAKEVILLE, Conn. (16 October 2025) — Following a record-breaking year that drew the largest Historic Festival crowd and participant entry in recent history, Lime Rock Park is already looking ahead to 2026. The 44th running of Historic Festival will return Labor Day weekend (Sept.3-7, 2026), celebrating Alfa Romeo as the featured marque and showcasing Historic Trans Am and Formula Junior as the event’s featured race groups.

Here’s How Northeast Drivers Did At Vegas Over The Weekend
Denny Hamlin won the Cup race at Las Vegas for his 60th Cup victory. Joey Logano of Middletown, CT finished in sixth place. Ryan Preece of Berlin, CT came in ninth.
Daniel Almirola won the Xfinity race at Las Vegas. Anthony Alfredo of Ridgewood, CT ended up 24th. Not so lucky was Thomas Annunciata who was way back in 38th place.
Cat & Mouse in Jon McKennedy’s $5,000 Dash for Cash Win over Woody Pitkat

Thompson, CT — Joshua Gerard and Shane Gendron brought the R&R Open Street Stock Series to green to kick off Friday’s racing action. Gendron shot off like a rocket with Austin Erickson in hot persuit as Ryan Lineham made short work of his march to third by lap ten. While Lineham continued his run to take the lead on lap fourteen, Erickson and Andrew Gillis got physical for third-place before the field strung out in between several caution periods. Ryan Lineham finally took the long-winded win over Jason Woodard and Austin Erickson.
Super Late Models Next Weekend Head For Oxford Plains Speedway In Maine
Over 40 drivers have entered the PASS 400, a race with a tradition dating back to Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, but with a huge difference for this year’s race. The race will total 400 laps, split into three segments at 100, 100, and 200 laps respectively, each paying $25,000 to win, with the overall winner collecting an additional $25,000 for having the lowest average finish from each of the three segments. A single driver could win $100,000 by sweeping the three segments. (more…)
Ron Silk & Matt Hirschman Spilt Modified High Honors on Sunoco World Series Saturday

Thompson, CT — The rolling thunder of the New England Supermodified Series kicked off the stacked feature racing Saturday afternoon with Jon McKennedy quickly taking over the lead from Ryan Battle by lap three. Big brother Jeffrey Battle officially sewed up his championship hopes after taking the green flag and found himself in the top three by lap 15. Facing McKennedy’s near straightaway lead, Battle went on the hunt against PJ Stergios until the final five laps but McKennedy was in another zip code, taking the win as smoke began to spirt out of the tailpipe ahead of Jeffrey Battle and Anthony Nocella.
