Barre, VT and Naples, ME —Officials from the American Canadian Tour (ACT) and the Pro All Star Series (PASS) are very pleased to announce that Weston Automotive has signed on to bring back the Triple Crown Series for the Sunoco Modifieds as a part of the 60th annual Sunoco World Series presented by Budweiser. The Weston Automotive Triple Crown Series for the Sunoco Modifieds was introduced at the 59th World Series and will return for a second edition.

SEBRING, Fla., (September 26, 2022) – The penultimate event of the Fanatec GT World Challenge America powered by AWS kept competitors and race fans guessing all weekend long, but the consistency of Wright Motorsports never faltered. With a third-place finish and a win in the pair of races by driver pairing Jan Heyelen and Charlie Luck, the team momentarily lost the championship points lead, but gained it back as the weekend came to a close. The Ohio-based team will take the final battle for the Pro/Am class title to Indianapolis Motor Speedway in two weeks’ time for the Indy 8 Hour. (more…)
The curtain came down on the regular race season at Riverhead Raceway in grand fashion Sunday afternoon with nine wild feature events presented. Allan Pedersen of Center Moriches won his second Figure Eight feature in a 24-hour span when he topped the 15-lap finale while Gerard Lawrence of Miller Place survived a side by side battle for the win in the 30-lap Street Stock event and Andrew Farnham of Baldwin topped the 30-lap Mini Stock contest, earning the 2022 championship in the process. (Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Motor Speedway welcomed the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series to the track $15,000 to win NAPA Fall Final. With 51 cars on hand to qualify for 32 starting positions, there was also a 20-lap RaceChoice.com B-Main feature which allowed the winner to choose from either a $1,000 payday or to join the starting field for the 80-lap main event. Cory DiMatteo won the race and he chose to join the 80-lap race and start in the 33rd and final starting position. (more…)
(Stafford Springs, CT)—Stafford Speedway hosted the NAPA Auto Parts Fall Final headlined by the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series with the SK Modifieds®, SK Lights, and Vintage All-Stars also in feature action. Anthony Bello was victorious for the second time during his rookie SK Modified® season, Steven Chapman dominated the 20-lap SK Light Invitational, and Tony Ferrante, Jr. won the Vintage All-Stars race. Todd Owen finished 5th in the SK Modified® feature, which was good enough to clinch his second consecutive SK Modified® track championship. (more…)
Kyle Soper of Manorville collected his fourth NASCAR Modified championship over the past five years at Riverhead Raceway Saturday night when he won the 50-lap feature event for his 29th career win moving him to 11th on the all-time win list. Soper recently also clinched another New York State NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series championship on the strength of his four win season in the Wayne & Joette Anderson owned machine. (more…)
